Welcome to the Norfolk County Branch website. We have over 8000 members who work mainly for Norfolk County Council, but also for other employers such as further education colleges, probation, Norfolk County Services, NPS Property Consultants and many private and voluntary sector employers providing services in the public sector.
We are here to offer our members help and advice on employment, legal and health and safety matters, education and training opportunities and welfare support.
We are also involved in negotiations on a whole range of issues both locally and nationally, including the Modern Reward Strategy, pensions, pay and terms and conditions of employment. Nationwide, UNISON has over 1.4 million members, making it one of the biggest trade unions in Britain and the largest public sector trade union in Europe. This gives us the strength to negotiate and influence your pay and conditions of service.
